WHERE?
Politan Row in Colony Square
14th & Peachtree Street NE
We recommend using a ride-sharing service if you plan to booze it up. Even if you don’t, riding with friends is the eco-Santa-ier thing to do. If you decide to drive, there is a parking garage at Colony Square and plenty of street parking. Please be mindful of parking signs and be respectful of the neighbors.
Route starts at Politan Row in Colony Square, proceeds down 14th into Piedmont Park and circles back to Politan Row.
Come jingle your bells!
WHO?
The Atlanta Santa Speedo Run, is open to anyone at least 21 years of age.
WHY?
It’s a great cause. Duh! … Also, prizes are a nice perk to say thank you for your fundraising efforts. Check out this year’s prizes on our registration page.
WHAT TO WEAR?
The dress code boils down to “less is more.” Speedos, swimsuits, costumes and holiday attire are encouraged (but not required)! Feel free to wear street clothes and then strip down to the Speedo attire at runtime. We highly suggest donning some sneakers, too.
WHAT TO BRING?
In addition to your fabulous outfit, bring:
- Any cash or checks with donations collected offline to turn in at the check-in table
- A credit card for the pre- and after-party shenanigans. We’ll also have a credit card machine at registration for last-minute participants.
- DO NOT bring valuables. We have an unsecured area for your clothes and cannot be responsible for your personal belongings.
FAQ
What if a donor doesn’t want to give online. Can I still get credit?
To get credit log into your Qgiv Account, select “My Donation” on the left toolbar and click “Add Cash or Check” tab on the right just above the list of donations received. Record the amount and bring checks/cash with you on run day.
Do you accept matching gifts and will they count toward my goal?
Yes! Please have your donor file the necessary paperwork on their end. Our address is PO Box 54808 Atlanta, GA 30308
What happens if I don’t raise the $250 minimum?
The $250 minimum is just a guideline. If you fall short, you will not be charged the difference. That said, we really urge people to raise the minimum. We are trying to raise $50,000 for our beneficiary and we limit the run to 200 folks, so we need each of you to do your very best, as you are potentially taking the spot of a person who would have raised $250. Note: If you do not raise the $250 minimum, you will not be eligible for the goodie bag or any raffles on the day of the event.
Can I register on run day?
Yes! We always have a handful of people who want to participate but have not signed up previously. To be fair to the other Santas, we ask that you make a $250 donation (includes $30 registration fee).
